Tuberculosis is a serious infection that can affect your lungs and impact the rest of your health. Our Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) test screening can help determine if you are infected with the bacteria known as Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. This is often a mandated test for students, athletes, and even employees in some industries. Your PPD screening may or may not be covered under your insurance. However, you may qualify for a discount based on your household size and income. If you are required to have a chest x-ray due to a past positive test we can perform the x-ray at our Kershaw location.
